Being Building Ready

Whether you are just starting up and looking for your first premises, thinking of relocating, or planning to improve your existing building, there are so many things to consider. I can help you to -

  •  put together a building brief that takes in to account your spacial and location needs

  • consider the impact that change may have on all aspects of your organisation, from staff to governance, finances to funding

  • identify potential funding sources

  • make it happen (and enjoy the process!) as a critical friend.

Refurbishment

"The only truly sustainable building is an existing building.'' Architects' Journal #RetroFirst campaign

Refurbishing a building has its own challenges, especially with older properties.  Having a sound building brief will enable you to match your requirements against available properties, and a strong risk assessment will aid your decision making.

New Build

Creating a comprehensive brief for a new building is essential.  Effective consultation with user groups and stakeholders to get the decision making right at this initial stage will help keep the project on time and on budget.
